I'm still not entirely sure how I arrived at a daily radio show on The Catholic Channel on Sirius XM 129. In my head, it’s still March of 2020, I’m 3 months pregnant, and the world is just shutting down.

14 days to slow the spread!!!!

Ahhh…simpler times.

Yet here we are, nearly a year later. My toddler is now a full blown little girl, in pre-school and full of opinions. That baby I was carrying is now a babbling, rolling, drooling bundle of 15 pound hefty joy. Those days to slow the spread are now days we hope vaccines roll out faster and faster. And I’ve somehow traded my frequent flyer miles for a state of the art broadcaster’s microphone and a comrex box that lets me do live radio for the corner bedroom converted into an office in my home in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

I’m just as surprised as you, trust me.

I have a lot of plans for this little radio show of mine. Guests to interview. Stories to tell. Lessons to share.

Most importantly, I want those two hours of daily radio, and this little corner of the internet, to be a place where you feel welcome, where we can share thoughts, ideas, conversations, and be unafraid to dig into what matters, how we can grow, what we owe one another, and ultimately how we can love Jesus more and better.

I’ll share show notes, further thoughts, links to stuff we talk about, and information about our guests here on this Substack. Occasionally you’ll get some pictures of my kids, recipes from my kitchen, the not too infrequent ramble about something I can’t get out of my head…
